I started kayaking at the age of 10 through the sea scouts in Exeter. Quickly I progressed and soon was regularly running the Loop section
of the Dart, by the Time I hit 14 I was paddling grade four rivers in Devon, Scotland and Wales. At the age of 16 I did my first Alps trip running all the classics, more trips to Wales, Scotland and in my home zone being Dartmoor.

From 16 - 20 I worked at various outdoor education centres including a season in The Ardeche and a season in the French Alps. After passing my BCU level 3 coach, I did a fair bit of coaching for Exeter School, with trips to Wales, Scotland and again Dartmoor.

Personal paddling all over the UK, French Alps, Italy and Switzerland.

After passing my 5 star kayak assessment I have been running trips, course and guilding, along with 1-3 star BCU Assessments. Currantly training to become a 4 star trainer/assessor.
